Hello Nursery!

My name is Miss Lofthouse and I am the nursery teacher here at St Michael's. I am so excited to be able to begin my second year of teaching with you all in our wonderful school!

I attended Lancaster University to study English Literature and Philosophy, then went on to complete mym PGCE in 2022.

I have two children of my own and LOTS of pets. When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my snakes, cats, cockroaches, hamster and tarantulas! I hope that all of our new pupils will be excited to meet some of them this year!

Ensuring that all children are given the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing, respectful and fun environment is of utmost importance to me. Each of our pupils is a loved and respected individual that will be welcomed into our setting with open arms.

I look forward to starting our new adventure together in 2023!
